These lists contains the names of pioneer prospectors, miners, trappers, merchants and others that have been in Alaska since it's purchase from Russia in 1867 up to about World War Two. The names come from books, mineral and other government reports including military information as well as censes rolls. Unfortunately many people are only refered to by a last name or initials in the source material.
